The Design Process

Planning:   Upon receiving your initial deposit, you will receive a phone call/e-mail design questionnaire {whichever fits your schedule the best}. This questionnaire will help us to determine your personal or business goals, customer demographics, and more. This will help us get an idea what you are all about & what you are looking for.

Contract:   Following completion of the design questionnaire, a contract will be customized for this project & sent to you. The contract must be signed, returned and the 50% deposit must be paid before any designing begins.

Initial Designs:   Three layouts will be constructed & given to you to choose your favorite. Once you choose your favorite layout, the first major round of revisions begins.

Revisions:   After the first major round of revisions, you will be able to make two more major rounds of revisions. If there are more major revisions made, you may be charged an hourly rate of $40.00.

Final Design:   At this time, I will be making the final touches to your web site & will send you a request for additional info that will help me finish the site. This may be text, images, or a variety of elements that will help personalize the site to you or your business. Once the items are added to your final design, you will need to 'OK' the final proofs.

Installation:   The remaining balance must be paid at this time, before the site is installed to your server. Upon receipt of payment, the design/files will be uploaded to your server. You will receive a phone call from the designer to explain how it all works & to answer any questions you may have. If you have an e-commerce web design, you will have to upload your products to the server.

Launching your Site:   After the installation has been completed and you understand what is going on, your site will be launched. Visitors will be allowed to see your new site, learn about your company, and purchase items (if you have an e-commerce site). Of course, you will have to market your site, so people know that it's there, but fortunately you can do this online at little or no cost.
